Big Start to the year for Existdance:

• 2 Existdance members made the top 100 of 'So You Think You Can Dance?". SYTYCD will premiere on Sunday February 3rd, 7.30-9pm and also on Monday 7.30-8pm

• Congrats to Sammy G who got 2nd in Victoria for So You Think You Can Dance region comps, Won $1000 in prizes!

• Our main krumper Paige performed at the Melbourne Big Day Out 08. She got buck in front of a massive crowd! Go Paige!

3. Oct. 21st saw Existdance host the Freestyle Freakshow competion & Sam
'Freakshow' Waterhouse memorial award for Ballarat, Geelong & Colac dancers
with success from all areas

Thanks to everybody who came and supported the Freestyle Freakshow at Colac on Sunday in memory of Sam Waterhouse. The day had some great competition and showcases from dancers from Colac, Geelong and Ballarat. It will be bigger and better next year and we hope to see you all there again. Krump Kings Trip By Chantelle Monteleone 4/04/07

When JB rocked up in the usual bus, we (Matt, Sam, Tess, Chantelle, Paige, Bec, Stacey & Micky G) all knew it was going to be long ride. It was filled with spotting flys on the ground of the bus (which Sam thought was quite the rare spectacle), camera battles (taking photos of people across from us...they also had a camera), blue toothing people in car next to us (George) and crappy radio stations (that JB chose).

But once we got to Highpoint, the spirits were lifted and we finally were able to shop! Whilst Tess, Chantelle and Paige spent their 2 hours finding KFC and a photo booth, Matt convinced sam to blow 50 bucks on a belt you can write words on. Micky G and JB floated around and we don't really know for sure what they were doing. Bec and Stacey were the only ones who made the most out of their time and had a good ol shop.

We then left for Melbourne Central to get Krispy Kremes..yes thats right everybody, we are all still alive and healthy. And everybody loved them!! We looked around for a bit, then left for the Krump Kings show.

After about half an hour the Kings of Krump entered the building and everybodies hearts were racing. They came out with asking for two girls and two guys to come up the front to battle eachother. And thats right, one of our own students at Existdance, Paige Monteleone, went up and Krumped infront of the inventor of Krump, Tight Eyez himself. Yeah and she got buck and snap crakcle and popped the other chics behind. Tight Eyez later said Paige was coo (basically really awsome)!!

They then gave us a bit of a taste of their own moves just before the photo taking and autographs started. JB got his shoes signed, Paige got all her Krump Kings DVDs sighning and Chantelle got her bounce top sighned by all three Krump Kings.
Then we all got photos taken with them all.

They taught us three routines, a routine from each of them. Then everyone got in on a session (like a krater) were someone basically gets buck in the middle of the crowded circle and everyone gets amp and cheers them on. After more photos and hugs we decide to bounce and head for Maccas before departing. Sam discovered he could eat a whole Big Mac before we could even order...he also found out it hurts. JB had a bit of a Krump outside Maccas too.

We stopped at HJ's on the way home to get food and got buck for the workers in there..they loved it. The whole way home we sung to any song we could think of. When we arrived back at da crib we all decided it was definitly an awsome day. So shout out to JB for organising this awsome trip for us, wouldn't of happened without you!

And sorry if you had to pay the $30 cleaning fee for the bus!!

Labour Day Announcment 8/03/07

Dance On Arrival (DOA) 18/02/07

Dance on arrival was a big hit! A big thankyou to all performers for putting in a big effort to get the show looking so great. A special thankyou goes out to the boys and girls who travelled from out of town to represent there cities! Sam G, Matt, Stewy and Tess took out da cribs awards for there consistant attendance and loyalty. Leah and Andrew (Kags) were given special awards for there work with Existdance. JB put on a great surprise solo show which got the crowd jumping and showed how versatile his dancing is! well done JB!! Time to start practicing for the next DOA.

Exisdance officially has a website! Keep up to date with news and important dates. The site is not completley up yet and will take a few weeks to be up and fully running.

Existdance is saying goodbye to one of our students Bonita (Mini Tess) who is moving to the gold coast to live and we would like to wish her all the best on her journeys and to come back visit again one day - you will be missed.
